She would bring the water to a boil, take off the flames and a minute later, pour it over the coffee grounds to brew. Once again, Andrew simplifies the complex.</description>

		<description>A helpful rule of thumb is to remove the boiling water from heat and wait approximately 45 seconds before pouring it on the grounds. I think this is about how long it takes for a quart of boiling water to cool to 205 degrees, an ideal temperature for brewing.</description>
