Other Info	Brad Yoder brings 20 years of songs to each performance, songs ranging from funny to poignant, and from poetic to political. He's opened for lots of people (e.g. the Cowboy Junkies and Robyn Hitchcock), won some awards (4-time Pittsburgh City Paper "Best Acoustic/Solo Performer"), sold 7,500 copies of 5 self-released CDs, had a couple songs on TV shows, and even one on NPR's "Car Talk." The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette called his latest CD, "Excellent Trouble", “..an album filled with beautifully recorded acoustic-based songs, united by (Yoder’s) honesty and vivid way with words.” (Scott Mervis) None of that stuff seems particularly important, though, compared to more "real-world" credits, such as: --inciting small children to dance around during shows. --learning that someone listens to your music while getting chemotherapy. --having someone request a song ("Skyler") which is older than they are. --hearing that your music encouraged a person during a dark time in their life. And, most importantly, continuing to write better songs. You should come out and hear some of Brad's new ones--they're good. There are also free stickers.
