Dave Johnson has been the primary singer and songwriter for the roots-rock/Americana band Midwestern Lull (Railway Records) since 2001. Johnson strums his own acoustic folk-pop songs, and has often been compared to Neil Young and James Taylor.

A review from GarageBand.com named him “a songwriter for our times”.
